A Clinic Built by the Dermatitis Community and Patients
The Motivation and Process Behind Treating Atopic Dermatitis, Rosacea, and Seborrheic Dermatitis.
It Began with Bedsore Treatment
Until the fall of 2024, while operating a nursing hospital, the biggest challenge I faced was the prevention and treatment of bedsores.
Therefore, I conducted various research and development projects, such as developing mattresses using MRI and pressure sensors, and devices that automatically change patient positions, and posted the process on my blog.
Subsequently, I received inquiries from companies interested in collaborative research and development.
I Gained Confidence in Growth Factors
With one of these companies, we attempted to use growth factors for bedsore management.
The results were better than expected, and applying the same method to skin damaged by radiation and chemotherapy also yielded positive outcomes.
I became confident that growth factors could be a solution for various skin problems. Consequently, I transferred the nursing hospital and opened a clinic at the current location.
The First Atopic Dermatitis Treatment Concluded in 5 Sessions
Soon after, our first atopic dermatitis patient visited, and the treatment yielded such positive results that it concluded in just five sessions.
Thanks to the review that patient posted in an atopic dermatitis community, we gratefully began to receive visits from more patients with atopic dermatitis, rosacea, and seborrheic dermatitis.
“I’m glad I found this place.”

Currently, approximately 40% of our patients visit from distant areas such as Busan, Geoje Island, and Mokpo. To accommodate those traveling from afar, we are also open on Sundays.
We promise to reciprocate your trust with heartfelt care, ensuring that any initial ‘Will it be okay?’ transforms into ‘I’m glad I found this place.’
Results and reviews speak louder than words

DK Han, Representative Director of MIRAGEN Clinic
While researching pressure ulcer treatments, I became convinced that growth factors play a key role in skin regeneration.
Based on this conviction, the treatment of our first atopic dermatitis patient was successfully completed in just 5 sessions. Thanks to the patient’s post in an online community, more individuals began to seek our care.
Since then, due to the reviews left by our patients, we have become a clinic visited by people from distant places, even without special promotion.
With a grateful heart, I will repay your trust with sincere and dedicated medical care.
