Can I wear makeup after treatment?

No, it is not recommended. Patients with dermatitis often have a weakened skin barrier, which can cause even moisturizers and sunscreens to be absorbed excessively, leading to inflammation.
Since the skin barrier cannot regenerate effectively when inflammation is present, it is best to avoid wearing makeup during the treatment period if possible.

Should I abstain from alcohol after treatment?

It is not strictly forbidden. However, alcohol can worsen systemic inflammation and increase blood and immune cell flow to the skin, which can specifically exacerbate skin inflammation.
Since the skin barrier cannot regenerate effectively when inflammation is present, it is best to abstain from alcohol during the treatment period if possible.

Why should I avoid hot baths, saunas, strenuous exercise, and spicy food?

Baths, saunas, strenuous exercise, and spicy food increase blood flow to the skin. This also brings more immune cells to the area, which can worsen skin inflammation.

Is the treatment covered by private health insurance?

Yes, it is possible as the procedure is for therapeutic purposes.
Dermatitis is a condition covered by most private health insurance policies, and SkinCellon used in treatment is applied according to its MFDS-registered purpose.
Therefore, claims are usually paid without issue; however, in rare cases, insurers may deny payment by claiming that SkinCellon is only covered when exudate (oozing) is present.
In such cases, you can argue that the purpose of SkinCellon is to “protect the skin by forming a physical barrier on damaged skin to maintain moisture,” and that it is not a product authorized for use only when exudate is present. This typically resolves any payment issues.
Since insurance companies occasionally request photos of the lesions before treatment, we recommend taking photos of the affected areas in advance.

What is the frequency and interval of treatment? How many sessions are needed to see improvement?

Generally, treatment is performed once a week.
While exceeding one week does not significantly impact progress, it is recommended not to exceed a two-week interval if possible.
Most patients begin to feel improvement within 2 to 3 treatments at the latest.
Treatment usually concludes between 5 to 10 sessions, though it occasionally exceeds 10 sessions.

My symptoms are very severe; can I still receive treatment?

Yes, generally, the more severe the symptoms, the better they respond to treatment.

Are there any additional costs?

We sell Miragen EGF Mist, which is required for home care, separately for 30,000 KRW.

Can I receive treatment on the day of my first visit?
